Bespoke
Made for
you alone.
This is not
custom sizing.
It is custom design.
A bespoke commission from Karon Woodland is not a garment pulled from a collection and altered to fit. It is a piece conceived entirely for you — designed around your body, your occasion, your presence, and your point of view.
Karon works with a small number of clients at a time. Each commission receives her full attention — from the first conversation to the final fitting. There is no production line. No assistant who handles your file. You work directly with Karon.
The result is a garment that exists nowhere else in the world. One that was made thinking only of you.
Who commissions a piece
Clients who know exactly
what they want to say
— and need someone who can build it.
The Occasion
A wedding. A performance. A milestone. An entrance. When the moment demands something that cannot be found on a rack.
The Wardrobe
Private clients who work with Karon season after season — building a wardrobe that is entirely their own, piece by piece.
The Statement
Those who understand that what they wear communicates before they speak. And want that communication to be precise.
The Process
How a commission
comes to life.
Private Consultation
Every commission begins with a private conversation. Karon listens — to your life, your occasion, your body, and the statement you want to make. No forms. No questionnaires. A real dialogue.
Design Direction
From that conversation, Karon develops a design direction unique to you. Silhouette, structure, proportion — every decision made with your presence in mind, not a trend calendar.
Material Selection
Fabrics are sourced to serve the design — not the other way around. Leathers, silks, suedes, and specialty textiles selected for how they move, drape, and age on your body.
The Fitting
A pattern is drafted to your exact measurements. The first fitting is a conversation between the garment and your body — adjustments made until the fit is precise and the feeling is right.
Creation
Karon constructs the piece by hand. Every seam, every finish, every detail executed with the same intention as the original design. This is where the garment becomes yours.
Final Delivery
The completed piece is presented to you in a final fitting. When it leaves the atelier, it is finished — and it belongs entirely to you.
Begin
Every piece starts
with a conversation.
